Mentoring

Types of Mentoring

  • Traditional One to One - One adult, to one youth or young adult.
  • E-Mentoring - Mentoring via e-mail, texting, and internet this will be used as an added component to other types of mentoring.
  • Peer Mentoring - Caring youth, mentoring another youth or caring young adult mentoring another young adult.
  • Team Mentoring - Several adults working with small groups of young people, with the adult to young people ratio is no greater than 1:4.
  • Group Mentoring - One adult working with a group of Youth or young adults, with a ratio no greater than 1:4.

REAL Volunteer Application Form

Real Champions of the Lowcountry ask our mentors to commit to at least one hour per week for 12 months but, we are also in need of volunteers for special events, seminars and training in your area of expertise. Please know that any financial contribution you make will also positively impact the children that we serve. Real Champions is a registered 501-c3 organization and all contributions are tax deductable. Please make your checks payable to Real Champions of the Lowcountry.
